Greens bounce back from weekend woe

By John Anderson

Mundo header reverses home result versus Virginia Water

A first half header from a corner, scored by Dean Munday, earned Holmer a very important three away points at Stag Meadow. The result not only avenged a very unlucky one-goal defeat at Watchet Lane in October, but also put important space between The Greens and the relegation positions which are now 12 points away. The goal also takes Munday ahead of Jamie West in the race for the end of season Golden Boot with six. Not bad for a centre-half in a team that only averages one goal per game.
