Seven goal blitz reverses recent poor results for U-25's

5 months ago By John Anderson

Nicholl's goal fest means that Holmer come out on top in local derby.

Four goals by Nicholls, including a 1st half hat-trick, helped The Greens complete a league double over their local rivals. After Rangers drew 2-2 at Division Leaders AFC Dunstable on Saturday this was probably not the best time for the low-scoring Greens to travel to Windsors. But after an early lead had been pegged back, they got the better of the opposition in an open game where both sides might have scored even more goals. The result moves Holmer back above Biggleswade United in the table with four games in hand.
United had put five past The Greens at Watchet Lane last Saturday after an early penalty had given the home side a goal start.
